Recently I was at the Wellbeing Festival in Bangalow in April 2011.  Searching for a Reiki treatment, I came across Uta, and felt instantly comfortable talking to her.  She explained that she worked on a range of levels.  I found it interesting that she identified the source of pain in my neck instantly, picking up on the exact spot I have had trouble for over twenty years.  I have previously been treated by a variety of practitioners, ranging from chiropractors to acupuncturists, and everything in between, with varying success.
Uta first did some physical realignment whilst explaining the physical imbalances that were contributing to the problem.  Her diagnosis was efficient and spot on, tallying with what x-rays and medical specialists have said over the years.  However, after doing a thorough job of realignment, she then began treating me on a whole other level.
Using voice, touch, kinetic and physical methods all at once, it seemed, she began a process of working with my body that soon had my whole body completely engaged.  Whilst I find it almost impossible to describe what it was she did, I can describe my own reaction.
At first I felt a sense of vibration, focussed on the area that has caused me trouble.  It spread through my body, increasing in intensity.  Every sound or movement Uta made seemed to go deeper into the place, and at times my whole body seized, shuddering or twitching quite uncontrollably.  I felt lost and emotional.  Finally Uta leaned down to me and told me that I needed to let go, and allow her to heal the problem, that I was resisting.  What I particularly liked in this interaction was that while she mentioned an emotional blocker that she was picking up on (and which was accurate), she didn’t attempt to dissect me psychologically.  Her interaction was pragmatic and constructive.
I immediately felt my internal resistance crumble away. She leaned over me and blew a clear note that seemed to travel right along my spine and nervous system.  My entire body arched, and I felt a sensation like something being drawn out of me, a long line that came from deep within and had me suspended for a long moment.
Then it was gone, and I was limp.
I felt vulnerable and tearful when she finished, and it took a while for me to collect myself and go home.  That night I still felt weak, and, again vulnerable is the best word I can use.
On waking the following day I was aware of a sense of lightness, and freedom.  Perhaps the most interesting thing that unravelled for me over the following weeks was that an old sense of anger, inadequacy, and frustration I had felt for years – in particular toward my mother – was simply gone.
Perhaps even more profoundly, the pain in my neck is gone.  At times I get faint twinges in the old place, particularly if I have been doing one of the activities that aggravated it in the past, but the real tension and seizure has simply gone.  I do not understand, on a scientific level, why this is the case.  But I have had many practitioners of all disciplines attempt various cures over the years.  Whilst sometimes they have provided temporary relief, on this occasion I felt at the time, and since, that the treatment was at a far deeper level than any I have experienced before.  
Uta, in my opinion, is that very rare person – a skilled and knowledgeable practitioner who works not only with full physical experience, but deeply intuitively.  She is the truest healer I have ever known.
I waited for several weeks – over two months – before writing this testimonial, as I wanted to know if the results were permanent or not.  Deep down, I think I knew that they were, but I can now say with full belief that her work has been completely effective.  I only wish she lived closer so that I could see her more often.
I cannot recommend anybody more highly.  I believe Uta to be an extraordinarily gifted woman, who works with every energetic and scientific process available to execute healing at the highest possible level.
I remain in awe of her ability and very grateful for the treatment I received.

After fracturing my coccyx in an accident my life had never been the same. I was in constant pain, suffered with my sciatica and would be confined to lying flat on my back for a couple of months out of each year.
The doctors could not help me and I had small relief from Physio and chiropractors. I even tried acupuncture. I had almost given up when by a stroke of luck I met Uta.
She assessed my situation and started work. After the first visit things changed drastically for me. I was able to move freely and wasn’t in pain. Uta's massage and body work is a great mix of relaxation and targeted treatment. I felt the tension release right from the source and the stretches that she used were so subtle yet so effective at releasing the exact muscles that needed work.
I have attended two of Uta's group work 'feel great' workshops. Each session has started with a chakra dance to activate out energy through the body. "Like many people i come from a dysfunctional family, the worst part for me was being born a girl when only boys were wanted. I have felt much bitterness and resentment. Since my fathers death 27 years ago my mother has alternated between bitterness and neediness. When i meet Uta i was in the middle of a 6 week care-taking of my mother while she recovered from an operation. Uta helped me to look at my chakras and realise that my heart and throat chakras were contracted and dark.
After helping me to clear my throat chakra it became a bright blue colour of good size and shape. Later Uta did an hour long session on my heart chakra using shamanistic and other methods to clear my fathers enitity from my heart. This experience made it possible for me to be more 'in-the-moment' with my mother, saying what i needed to say and her bitterness did not control me like it had. "I cannot recommend Uta highly enough, both as a professional massage therapist and as someone who genuinely wants to see you healed. I suffered quite a terrible accident, getting dumped directly on my head in the surf, I went numb from my neck to my toes and truly feared the worst. Thankfully most of the feeling came back quickly, I was rushed to hospital but the X-Rays revealed no broken bones but the pain was excruciating and I was unable to move my neck and actually had to sleep in a seated position. For the next 10 days, I was too scared to see anyone because I was in so much pain and I feared that inexpert treatment would only make me worse. Prescription pain killers only took the edge off my pain and finally I knew I would not heal on my own. At this point, I was lucky enough to find Uta. After the first treatment, I regained some movement and amazingly was able to stop taking the pain killers!! After the second treatment, I was able to turn my neck a bit further and the pain was further reduced to the point where I felt happy for the first time in 2 weeks. The only thing I was sad about was that I was just passing through the area and was unable to go for more treatments. I truly believe had I been able to receive more treatments that I would be further healed than what I am now. I have since receive 3 treatments from different 'therapists' and to be honest, they were almost a complete waste of time and money.
